Keith,
If you can get one of these nice folks on Greenkeys to lend you a knob (with your promise to return in perfect condition) you can mold a copy of it using various clear plastic resin molding kits such as those available here: http://www.alumilite.com/store/pg/50-Kits-Alumilite-Mold-Making-Casting-Materials.aspx
I have made all kinds of small plastic parts this way, including a spinner skirt for a Collins receiver main tuning knob and a replacement knob for a vintage radio. You can purchase color dyes from these folks as well so you can make the part any color you wish. If you are patient, your copy will be indistinguishable from the original - no kidding.
Basically you create a two piece silicone mold using the original part and then pour in your resin and in 24 hours you have your copy. I have made dozens of parts this way and have been very pleased with the result.

Subject: [GreenKeys] 33 TWX volume knob
Hi everyone -
Thanks especially to Wayne Durkee and Doug Jones, I've gotten my machine working pretty well. I was wondering if anyone might have a volume knob for this machine; mine is missing. I don't know if there were different sized shafts over the years, but mine is 1/8" in diameter. In lieu of an actual knob, could someone take a picture of one so that I could try to find a modern part that's as similar as possible?
Thanks very much,
Keith
