Way too complicated and isn't exactly a "terminal" in that sense.

PCI-3000, I have one of those too, and will not work. It's a Modem and
expects an audio tone stream.
The HAL DSRTTY software with a current loop adapter (RS-232 to Loop)
makes your PC look like a simple TTY machine.
In my case, since I have to Lorenz FSG (call control unit) I let the PC and
loop converter substitute for the Lorenz TTY machine.
