Glad you were able to rescue it.  The Morkrum-Kleinschmidt name plate
dates it to roughly after 1925 when Morkrum and Kleinschmidt merged,
and roughly before 1928 when they changed the company name to Teletype.

The keytops are interesting, must have been changed at some time, since
it has =LF on one key and CAR RET on another.  In earlier W.U. service
it would have been only the = and the CR key would have had a big period.
W.U. used a double period, really meaning a double CR, to mean end of
message.  So this was a machine that might have been used to communicate
with page printers.
