[GreenKeys] Model 28 keyboard issue. Pressing one key results in multiple letters printed

 Hi 
Just wondering if anyone would have any advice on how to fix my issue. 
Description of the problem is as follows; 
When selecting a key on the keyboard, it seems like the teletype wants to print multiple times For example, when I hit the figures key, I can hear the machine go into "figures mode" but it pops back out and then back in a few times. 
This doesn't happen every time I press the FIGS key but very often. 
Is there some sort of adjustment I can make somewhere to fix this issue. 
Any help would be appreciated
