[GreenKeys] Horribly OT: Solar eclipse

I used a #10 welding helmet AND my (prescription) sunglasses. Perfect strength.
Unfortunately even though we were in a 95% totality area (just a slim crescent left) in southern MO, it did not get dark or cool even momentarily, nor were there any neat “flashes”. NASA TV had some really good video though.

I used 10 layers of 40-year black and white 35mm negatives, the ones with high silver content to watch the eclipse. Wow, it worked out great.

Made a few pics with my phone by using the negatives as a filter. It worked, but only so so.
