[GreenKeys] Model 35ASR TD Motor Woes

Aha... So, I pulled another book off the shelf, which has a different set of prints in it...
W-HOGTC-C16 (specific to TWX 35 ASR, which I have) specifically calls out capacitor 192019 in figure 1603, and motor 192120 in figure 1605. These are exactly what I have.
So - either the motor got damaged in the extreme heat of the original cap failing, or it just runs this hot regardless of what the dataplate on the motor says. Probably the former. It does seem to run at about 230-235F in the hot spots now. Was it always that way? I don't know. Is my replacement cap bad? I'll find out soon enough by testing it.
Thanks for helping, all.
cheers,
dj

I had noticed that the area above the TD unit was warm, but never noticed how warm. We know these machines can put off some heat, and being my first and probably only-ever 35 ASR, I have nothing to judge it against.

Grabbing a 4 MFD on Monday is an option, but that will cost about $15 or so. A lot to spend on a part I'll likely have no other use for, which may or may not make it run cooler.
