Offfffff topic and something to laugh and think about it.

My wife explained to our granddaughter what "hobby" means. She used the example of my ham radio hobby and little 6-year old Alyssa said: "yeah, grandpa is wasting too much money on radio's and teletype machines" !

Every time I crank up a TTY printer, she can't run fast enough to see what is going on.

I did not know that you can waste too much on that hobby.

I caught her many times playing with microphones in my shack - luckily, she does not know how to turn the equipment on. Not yet !!!

I gave her a good set of walkie-talkies for Xmas. We play a lot with that set outside and she calls me:
"N0NCQ, here is R2D2"

The next generation is born !!!
