[GreenKeys] M15 pressure rollers (Wooden)...

Hi all!

Jim is correct!

The Model15 typing units that have the three pressure rollers made
of wood, are for sure, early production ones...

Another possibility, although not confirmed, is the possibility
due to war time rubber shortages, wooden rollers were used
in the typing units produced during this period...

In any case, the wooden rollers were not that great, as paper
slippage issues were common, especially if the platen was
worn, hardened and/or shiny...

We replaced them with rubber ones as a matter of routine
maintenance...

Nick, I can send you a set of new old stock ones
if you like...

They are very easy to replace!

Cheers!

Ken
