[GreenKeys] calibrating speed on a 14 and 15

Can't you use a common $25.00 optical (laser) tachometer? Do the simple
laser tachs lack sufficient accuracy or resolution for the job? What about
good old-fashioned strobe discs, illuminated by a neon + diode lamp?
