Thank you. That is an outstanding article. I learned a great deal. I wonder why the Enigma is so well known and the Lorenz is less so. Is it because the Enigma was first? Or is it because the name Enigma is so alluring?

What firm manufactured the Engima devices?

Several museums have an Enigma machine on display. I've never see a Lorenz SZ Machine. 

Visiting Bletchley Park is certainly on my bucket list.
