[GreenKeys] Interesting article on Bletchley Park

I know the guys at TNMOC very well indeed, living just over an hour drive away. I was the guy who
restored the Lorenz SZ42 (actually still owned by GCHQ), currently alas in a static display case at
BP. BP, as in the main site, is administered by the Bletchley Park Trust, whereas The National
Museum Of Computing is a completely separate entity on a different part of the same physical site.
Since the functional unit is in a display case, TNMOC have procured a partial machine on long-term
loan from Norway (the one in the photo in the link), which we had intended to bring back to full
operation. Alas the Norwegians have scotched that - we can bring it back to visual completion, but
cannot restore it to full functionality. We can't even clean and regrease the bearings, because
Norway regard the original tarry gummy grease as "an historical artefact". Shame, but since it
belongs to them we have to do what they say.

Not just a crypto museum, but also a full computer museum (I didn't know
that). I think I saw a couple of teletypes :-)
