Going from memory, a friend installed a pair of 8' x 16' panels on their
house, total power 15 amps @ 240 volts (after the inverters.)
That's roughly 14 watts/square foot.

A football field is roughly 48,000 square feet. Two of them would be
96,000 square feet. At 14 watts/square foot that comes to 1344 KW.
