Here is a small progress report on getting the CR function to decode on the Model 33 we're working on at the U of Iowa, with before and after photos:

Photographing these little bits of the inside of the TTY is hard.  I had to use a telephoto and work from 6 feet away to get the depth of field needed to make sure the black bits and pieces were in focus, plus a flash to get enough light to see the black parts, and then I had to photoshop things (well, Apple preview does the job) in order to bring the brightness up to the point where the black parts are easy to see, making the pot-metal framework seriously overexposed.
