Good tips. 

I looked at the bottles on ebay and I use something similar. If you or your wife use hair color, there is a bottle in the box that has a spout but no long tube. I use a plastic wand from a can of contact cleaner or the like and hold it on with heat shrink. I have been using the same one now for long time. 

A quick fix for 33 keytops is to apply a light coat of oil on the faded keytops. Preferably a dark colored oil. Let it sit for a few minutes and then wipe it off. This is especially helpful when only a few keytops are faded and dont match the others. Not as thorough as your method, but works. 

Here is a pic of a kybd that I did the above fix recently. Most of the keytops were good, just a few weathered or chalky.
