Brad, 

The relay does look good and seems to be operating as it should. Try a 3 amp slow blo fuse. I really dont know the diff between MDL and MDC. Just a slow blo with the spring inside the fuse. If the 3 amp slow blo still does not hold, I guess you need a motor. 

You have already done good work by rotating the motor fan to make sure the mainshaft and the rest of the 33 works without a bind or the like. 

If you want the motor, I will test one and I will need a relay to test it, so I will send you both. Just pay the shipping. I will need your address of course.

Also, I put a video of the relay operating in that same link – in case that tells anyone. It kind of looks like it’s working to me but maybe more experienced eyes can tell.

Okay.. I opened up the relay to have a look inside:

To my eyes it looks pretty clean.. although there is some visible burn on the one side of the ‘switch’ or whatever it’s called. I note too the bottom casing of the relay had a bit of oil in it.
