I had read the NSA TEMPEST report mentioned below before. But I had not 
seen the second one, "NSA TEMPEST History Lecture"

listed on Nick's TEMPEST site, http://www.navy-radio.com/tty-tempest.htm
Declassified from "SECRET NOFORN" without too many redactions.

It starts out with some of the same examples as the "Background Article" 
but then goes into a lot of detail on the history of TEMPEST.  Good 
reading for anyone interested in TEMPEST. (The Flexowriter was a 
_terrible_ emitter of signals!)
