One never knows what the market is for equipment that is no longer in
production of any kind.
It often goes from half or less than the original price. Then to the junk
bin or way up in price depending if anyone wants it.
Look at the Teletype 33. Not too many years ago they were being thrown
away, now I think they are going for as much or more than they sold for
new. Same for the old ARC transmitters and receivers. I still kick myself
for not buying an ARC5 transmitter that was still in the box about 20 years
ago. The fellow was asking less than $ 20 for it and did not get any takers
that I know of.
