Dick   the  2b uses smaller than  3/8  by  
a  bit... John Nagle has  some he ordered   a bunch from 
china... none of  these  stuff is  gummed  must gummed  
stuff is  stuck together.

Wow, thanks for that link!  And thanks too for the information on the tape size.  We were not certain on the size so that's important information.

Yes, exactly!  There is a YouTube video of a guy at the Marconi Museum as the former site of WCC printing tape on a 2B, using the moistener like an expert (he clearly did it in an earlier life) and using gummed tape like he had it to burn!

we have one of the glass  wetting thingisis  but only 
one    happy to photo it in detail if  you want to  
build one ... pretty funny  got it with a bunch of  W U stuff and did 
not know  what it was  until I asked the  old time folks 
here!
