[GreenKeys] Rust Removers: Experience?

Greenkeyers,

Some time ago, there were posts on the list about the use of "Rust Away" or
some similarly-named product, with very good results reported and advice on
use offered.

I recently got a Unimat LS-1000 miniature lathe and need to de-rust most of
the parts. My memory may be weak, but I looked in auto parts stores,
hardware stores, and on the Web, for "Rust- Away".  I found only Evapo-Rust
in one store, which I did buy.

I did find online this:
RUST AWAY - RUST AWAY STAIN REMOVER 16 OZ.
This stuff is a gel - you apply then wipe or wash off later.
This web-site tells about some available products, including Evapo-Rust,
but not the one I remember:

What experience have list members had?
Products? Results? Advice?

(I also need sources for drive belts for this wonderful small lathe.)
