Hi all!
Was looking at Richards two photos of the M14 KSR
tape printer...
For sure it is a WU 2b printer, but it is mounted on
a M14TRP base, as evidenced by the extra wide tape
holder mounted on the RHS of the base...
Some time in it's lengthy career, the printing unit
wound up being mated to a TRP base with cover...
it was a common enuf practice for this to happen...
The TRP cover, (Most of them), had no openings, round
or oval, as they weren't. needed...
On the left side mounted on the base plate, shows the
tape discharge bracket, definitely for a 14TRP...
As mentioned in an earlier post, WU kept equipment
for years, and used whatever they had on hand to keep
them running...
The "Stamped-in" serial number on the base is suggestive
of an older Morkrum, or Morkrum/Klienshmidt printing
unit...
I may have a couple of the correct width (3/8") tape discharge
chutes kicking around, but are slightly wider than the
2b units most of you are looking for...
Cheers!
Ken
