[GreenKeys] M15 spacing CR problems...

Hi all...

Note for the guys working on the 15 with the erratic
CR & spacing issue...

A rare but possible thing to look at is the CR drum spring...

I have seen where the locking tab on the CR spring has broken
off where it attaches to the inner spindle, resulting in a
slippage of the entire spring within the drum assembly...

When trying to adjust the tension, it seems like it is tightening
up, but will eventually slip around inside the drum enclosure...

The only way to check is to remove the drum assembly
as a complete unit...

Before removing drum, back off any remaining spring tension
and carefully remove the CR return strap before next step...

There is a top disk covering the spring underneath held down
by three flat head screws...

The spring is VERY tightly wound up inside the drum enclosure
extreme caution is needed when taking it out to inspect it...

Safety glasses are a MUST, as the spring can suddenly fly out...

The same safety requirements apply on reinstalling the spring
in the drum...

It may be a bad/broken spring, and the only sure way to know
is to inspect it...

If it is bad/broken, I can send you a replacement new one!

Good luck!
