While with the 5th MOBin '68, I remember moving the "20 van" ( I think we only had one) from Robins AFB (GA) to Eglin AFB (FL) & then back again. This was done a few times. At one point, we were providing training on the equipment within to members of 3rd MOB from Tinker AFB (OK).
The van contained a small telephone switch, Teletype 28 and crypto gear. I don't recall any radio equipment on board. The best part the van was the great air conditioner that kept us cool in the Florida heat.
There are a few stories in there somewhere, but none of them about the teletype gear.
I don't recall the Adler name on the plate

IAdler was a systems contractor who delivered transportable communications shelters to the military. Here's an examplehttp://www.hilltoparmyradios.com/an-tgc-20-shelter.html
Adler got the radio gear from TMC, TTY gear from Teletype Corp., etc. this looks like a UGC-25 (28 compact RO) that Adler did some wiring changes to as part of an Air Force transportable comms trailer.
