but the thinner  tapes  goes  though the  3/8! Yea!

made  5/16 instead of 3/8 so it can be used in the W.U. machines.   The
Chinese rolls have a larger center hole, and someone on the list  whose
name I don't recall made up some plastic cores to adapt the Chinese  rolls
to the small center hole of the Teletype  machines.
