Steve - add this info to make it clearer ..
my 14
tape printer with bell label has a 11/16 on output
but a 3/8 on input it is a 14 3/8
one...

the tape printers WU or BELL do not have sprocket holes on
the 3/8 or wu thinner tape.

do you have a photo of your old unit!?

Hi Ed. I've attached a photo of the 1946 KPH operating room with the unit
in question in the foreground. I've been told it's a 2B but I'm far from
an expert. We try to acquire equipment to stand in for items that are
long gone.

If the attachment doesn't work the photo may be seen at:

Dick I would need a closer photo...one thing that the 2b dies not like
is 3/8 tape WU used narrower a bit than 3/8!

One other thing look inside and out to see if there is western union
tags or? not.

I see you also have one of the Morse tape perforators ad there too! Neat!
