I have a win  10 laptop...  will try it!
 
 Will I need the inf  file like on 7?

I don't know - it just worked  for me, but someone else had trouble where 
it looked
like it was installed  and showed up as COM3: but accessing the device 
didn't actually
talk to the  card, it just echoed keystrokes.

Yes, Ed. You can expect any hardware I design that touches a TTY  loop to 
isolate
it optically from everything else.
