Thanks to Julien for sharing the schematics he has for the
M33 mystery UCC...

As I first suspected and mentioned in an earlier post,
UCC is quite complex and pbly of European (France?)
origin...It is a "Hybrid" mixture of Teletype and customer
supplied parts...

One of the first things need checking is whether the motor
installed in this unit is the 50hz version...One of the dead
give aways, is the fan shroud and larger fan, pbly the
3" version...

Also, if equipped this way, the 110 bd gear & pinion will be
different from the 60hz set...

If it does have a 50hz set, the machine will run faster than
an actual 110bd rate...Probably will run hotter as well, and
not likely for too long!

Some years back, I set up a large number of 230V/50hz
M32ASR's which were destined for the African
continent to be used in their Telex service...
The 50bd gears, pinions, and motors had to be specially ordered...

If I owned this particular machine, I wud be considering
replacing the UCC with the more well known and
documented UCC6...

Good luck with your project Julien...

Cheers!
