Thanks to Eric, Tom and Jack for feedback. The quality is not where I want it. It needs to be rock solid, especially if we get to Saturday pix!
Darn!!
I need to figure out why this is happening. I wonder if it is a network problem. Dropped packets? I could imagine ITTY would really be sensitive to that. My ISP is Comcast, and I have a cable modem and high speed service. Yet I have heard (rumors only) that dropped packets is common with Comcast and/or cable modems. You never notice it when web browsing, and YouTube buffering has pretty much masked the problem for video streaming.
I'm going to leave the system up, and appreciate those who have tested it and might do so in the future. I will let you know when something has changed and when I would like to run another formal test. For now, it will run with the occasional break/drop outs until I can figure out what next.
