In a word yes.

ITTY is an audio stream, but unlike an audio stream delivered via long
lines, or radio it doesn't suffer the effects of distortion, selective 
fading,
incorrect shift, center frequency or signal to noise ratios.

The TU board is as simple as it is, because it doesn't have to deal with
everything that could be wrong.
