I'm the one that got it.

It was while reading the technical document for it that I spotted Gil's
comments about loop supplies and the math behind them.

This isn't "rocket science." It's not even in the same category as Barbie's
infamous "math is hard!" comment.

It's simple electrical theory. di/dt.
"They" i.e. the various manufacturers and infrastructure engineers, would
not have gone through the expense of 130 volt loop supplies at 62.5 mA
if there was a cheaper alternative.
