Why is this even being discussed?

Radio Shack was already in the toilet 20 years ago. Name recognition
and cell phone sales were the only things keeping them afloat as they
spiraled down the drain.

Circuit City died because of online sales. Amazon, eBay and others
allow you to buy things at way below any retail price structure
required to keep a physical franchise store functional.

Despite everyone screaming "Buy American!" or "Support local mom
and pop stores" the bottom line is that the economy is tight and the
consumers will buy from whoever is the cheapest or not at all.
