Apologies to all for not getting back to you sooner.

The fellow who stated that he would have the mold for the 28 hammer
heads done in a few days was bullshitting from the get-go.

When I made it to Seattle to recover my samples (and my down payment) I
did not get anything he had supposedly drawn up. Even the e-mails
between us were conspicuously absent.

He had apparently left under acrimonious conditions, and the owner of
the joint was very apologetic over the whole situation

The current status is that everything is now in the hands of a fellow
who has a history of taking challenges like this and getting things done.

Peninsula College in Port Angeles, WA has a small precision CADCAM
milling machine that has been sitting idle for some years. I have
contributed a couple of hard drives to their program and the machine is
about back up on the air, and the first challenge is the mold.

The new one(s) (I'll try and get 2 or 3 made) will be stainless or
monel. This will facilitate getting more product made faster, as the
elastomer has a 48 hour cure time. Better yet is that there will be no
charge for the machine work, which will reduce costs dramatically.

A belated thank you to Nick England for supplying the exact dimensions.

Also, it looks like I am about done with the temporary baby-sitting of
the recycle yard, which will free up a lot of time for more playing, and
rummaging through everything trying to find "stuff" that people want or
need or dream about.

You've seen a few tid-bits on GreenKeys from a young lady named Sarah
Autumn.

I met her at the Communications Museum in Seattle and was overwhelmed by
how much she knows about teletype machines, just from hanging out and
paying attention to those there who would take the time to impart knowledge.

Sarah has an incredible background in a number of technical areas, and
is currently working as a maintenance supervisor for a small VOIP
business in North Seattle. She also plays drums and is a very skilled
acoustic guitarist.

Her current Museum Training is to become well-versed on the only
operating Panel Board Central Office Switch in the world, right here in
the beautiful Northwest.

Sarah will be getting the bulk of the W7TTY GOODY BIN!!. My ghost, when
he arrives, will rest easy!!

More on the hammers as things develop.

73 and Y'all have a nice weekend.

George - W7TTY
