[GreenKeys] FAX in an early movie

    FAX among other things is shown in a 1937 industrial at:

    The movie was made by Jam Handy of Detroit, who produced hundreds of 
industrials mostly for the Chevrolet division of GM. They are mostly 
well made although some are a bit funky to modern eyes. About the only 
other movie I can remember which featured FAX is "Call Northside 777" 
with Jimmy Stewart, a pretty good movie made at a time when Fox and 
others were experimenting with elementary film verite.
    When I was in grammar school in Detroit back when the dinosaurs 
roamed, we were shown a couple of these industrial/educational films 
about twice a month in a general assembly.  It seems to me now that most 
had a stock shot of a combine harvester floating through a wheat field 
in them.  There was one about broadcasting and record making with a cut 
away of the NBC chimes machine in it.  I can't find that one but would 
love to see it again.
