Michael,
I don't want to discourage you, but mice are the biggest enemy of a 33.  Rust and corrosion from their urine is terrible.

Go for the project and you can learn about the 33, but final results may be difficult to achieve.

If you need these Molex pins, that is a bad sign.  I have rarely seen them rusted.

Some others may be able to help you with the pins.  I only have some used ones around.  I may have springs for you, but need the part numbers.

Find the mainshaft bind before you apply power.

Good luck and 73,

Subject: [GreenKeys] Teletype ASR Model 33 TZ

Last week a couple of friends and I rescued a TTY from the dumpster. It in what I would call poor condition. The feet are just about rusted off and a family of mice were living inside. Anyway, I'm attempting to bring life back to it. I cleaned most of the loose debris. The motor is free, but something in the drive line is froze. A number of the springs are badly rusted and will have to be replaced. I think it may be possible to clean it up and get it working. I removed the power supply from the side and will be my first project. My questions are, on the power supply module there few Molex type plug and sockets. Some of the pins need to be replaced. I have supply of TE pins and sockets, but they are a little too small in diameter. Can someone suggest replacement numbers? AND are there replacement springs available? Thanks
