How much is the  card  with the good  chip already on  it!?

They're  $2.75 each, not that awful.

I used hot air to take off  the old chip, cleaned off the glue with 
acetone, neatened
up the pads a bit  with an iron, and didn't add any new solder or paste, 
just what
was already  there from before. I preheated the board with hot air and then 
laid the  
new chip down, holding it in place under the air until the solder melted  
and surface 
tension settled it into position.
