Yes, Hal did assemble and sell ST-6s. And I have the last one. I called 
them to order a kit, and whomever I talked to said they were not selling 
kits anymore, but they had one already built and it was their last one. 
I bought it and used it and still have it and will have it until I die. 
As you say, it was beautifully built and worked like a charm.
