My 813 is about 6 inches from bottom of base to top of glass envelope and about 2 1/2 inches diameter. Computing cubic inches & converting to fluid ounce volume gets about 16.3 fl oz. Significantly smaller than the “25.4 oz Oil Can size!"

Wayne and others,
While on a Canadian Forces ship, I was introduced to Fosters Beer - the “Red” and the “Blue”. It came in very large cans.
According to:
http://www.fostersbeer.com/#/the-beer
The “Blue” is their Lager beer and it and their “Premium Ale” in the green can are both available in the “25.4 oz Oil Can" size.
Sorry, I don’t have any 813 vacuum tubes nearby to estimate the volume of one, but I suspect a similarity in size.
