Nice work!
I hate to tell you this, but there are no factory felt washers where you added them. As long as the ones you added are not too tight, no problem.

I've never punched felt washers before, but now that I've done it, it's easy, and one old felt hat can make a hundreds of washers. The challenge: There seemed to be some missing felt washers on the end of the sensing lever pivot shaft at the lower front of the paper-tape punch on my M33. I suspect there may be no need to put anything there, but the shaft looks naked sticking out there with grooves for e-clips at the very outboard end. I wrote this up in more detail here:
