Wonderful! I swear, that selfsame Bell Systems unit is sitting in my front
room.. less the rectifier(?) unit in the base?
BTW - Exactly +why+ did some units use synchronous AC motors, while others
used governed DC motors? Was it an issue of poor frequency stability on the
local AC mains?
(Yes - a larger image would be great..)
