Oddly, I have a pair of the WU desk fax units...   long ago I got the urge to do the ARRL book conversion but never got around to it.  As far as I know the machines are in fair to good condition with no modifications.  Unfortunately, I lost the vial of extra styli (styluses?) and the box of 1000 blank forms due to a leak in one of those pay for storage facilities.
I have been undergoing additional ortho and neuro tests (like the needles in the nerve thing and the shock thing) but I think it might be time to get rid of the desk fax units since even if all four surgeries are successful I will never have full use of hands and fingers like before the injury.
I apologize for not getting back to some ppl who have messaged me due to the ongoing tests.  Please message me off list at jcw1232 at pacbell dot com if interested in these machines or the TTY gear previously mentioned.  Turns out I have even more in my treasure (hoard?)
