[GreenKeys] Fwd: Looking for an IBM 2741 or similar

When I was in the USAF, the command post had a system for communicating with other bases. It utilized crypto equipment so I worked there sometimes. Once in awhile the powers above had us on 12 hours shifts at this location. A good friend of mine (best man at my wedding) worked on the system and part of that system was one or two IBM I/O printers. He had a nightmare of a time with it. It would make a mistake once in a great while, but just enuf that the shift commander wanted it fixed. My friend always seemed to be working on it. 

The only Teletypes I saw were the 28's and Kleinschmidts (sp?) as I went thru the operation room at the comm center which was at another location. We had a 28 KSR in the Crypto room there. Never thought I would still be working on them now. 

The command post has been torn down and the comm center is a beauty shop school now. Base was closed in 1980's and its an industrial park now. Your tax dollars at work.
