This is the problem you get into by using a _brand name_ generically!

Not all teletypewriters/teleprinters were made by Teletype Corp. and not 
all of Teletype Corp.'s products were teletypewriters/teleprinters (they 
made Morse perforators and encryption equipment among other things).

(maybe I'm more sensitive about this sort of thing after working at 
Xerox Corp.)
