Well if it was introduced in 1885 I would consider it an OLD computer! J

My call ..

Outside the Model 33 crowd ..

There isn't all that much new interest.

There are a quite a few geographical areas where GKers have been waiting for a machine that is withing their 'area'.

I've generated new interest a few times, usually with someone under 25 or so. But only one person has added himself to the list of having or wanting a physical machine.

Now for the 33's

I really feel there is a growing interest but it is more a interest in old computers and some of the older of old computers used a 33. I say older since many include the original PC to be an 'old' computer.

I'm restoring an HP 9000/310 introduced in 1885 (Motorola 68010) it never used a Teletype, I'm just having a hard time thinking of it as a old computer :-)

It’s good to see all these machines getting sold so quickly. I’ve been watching CL and Ebuy and it doesn’t seem to take long before they’re gone.

Is there a wide spread renewed interest again for the machines?

I know from my personal experience, I’ve had my machines here for a while and sat on them until I now have time to get back to them again, never really lost interest though.
