[GreenKeys] Model 28 KSR over-printing

My Model 28 occasionally overprints, especially the letters I and A in combination (like my callsign!)

I have adjusted the range selector, and the machine is well lubed, but I'm at a loss to pinpoint why it sometimes overprints. Maybe it's wear?

Any thoughts would be appreciated.
