Folks,

I feel like my CBM15 software is sufficiently polished & functional to
merit a first alpha release. Note that this was the software previously
known as "PETTY" - and it may well revert to that name, depending on how I
feel.

In short, PETTY / CBM15 was built for the C-64, but should run on most any
Commodore machine, with one or two little changes. In its present form,
it's capable of the following:

 - Create bi-directional RS-232 link between C-64 and appropriate M15 level
converter. By default, software runs at 45.45 baud, 5 data bits, 2 stop
bits, no parity, software handshaking.

 - Can easily be modified for other baud rates and other serial connection
parameters

 - Two-way text 'chat' between C-64 host and M15 TTY. All ASCII / Baudot
(USTTY) conversions are handled automatically

 - Signal bell (Ctrl-G) is supported

 - Send CR, LF, LTRS, FIGS and NULL to M15 from C-64 function keys

 - Read (SEQ) ASCII file from disk, translate and send to M15. Nice for
printing vintage news service bulletins and other ephemera.

Current ver is 0.54. Consider this an alpha.. ;-)

C-64 executable & text listing can be found here:

If anyone tries it, let me know! Seems to work OK here, but please report
any bugs you might find..

-Bill
