[GreenKeys] Jackfields

Following this thread, here is what I did for a jackfield at my shack. Someone very kind on this list (unfortunately I have forgotten who!) found a nice homemade jackfield for me.

I then proceeded to make a loop circuit for it. With no plugs in place, the loop is preserved. As a device with a plug is inserted, the plug breaks the loop and inserts itself into the loop. That way I can have multiple devices on a loop, unplug one and the others still function fine.
Here is the diagram:

in the end, I have two separate loops on this jackfield. Each with 6 jacks. You can see the wiring and the molex connector that connects to my ST6 here:

Nice picutres, Roy and Keith. Interesting that both these gems have two rows of SET and two rows of LPG (and then Keith’s has one more row MISC.
What do SET and LPG mean?

Here's a pix of the gem I have. They were available on ebay a number of years ago, did anyone else grab one?

I was inspired by Jack K0TTY to build a small current loop patch box,
It turns out that the RIGHT small loop switch box can be VERY versatile. The Phone company and the military used a small patch box that will do an amazing amour of patching. See pictures below. If you EVER see one of these things at a fest, do not pass it up.
If you are tempted to build one of these yourself, gather the CORRECT jacks and be prepared to do a lot of tedious wiring.
I think i need different panels for audio and current loop because only one seems too small.
Keep them separate, or at least plug- Incompatible.
