I spoze one could rewire the keypunch to become a card transceiver, and
then we could transmit punch cards by radio just like using RTTY.

Then we could put an old twist on QSO-by-macro-keys
You punch a card with the other guy's callsign, and you have cards for
calling CQ, for answering a CQ, for starting a transmission, for the
"over" function, and for the SK function.
