Greetings gang,
My name is Denton and I have recently wondered into TTY territory with the acquisition of the titular model of air force teletype. I got the copy of the manual that is floating around the web and got to work. I replaced the original military data cable plug with a home made serial plug so that i can wire up any kind of particular interface I need. I managed to get a "tone" out of send and receive but it translates on mmtty as a mess and when i play the itty newsfeed its also just a mess. I know nothing about using a real tty. I worked with the tty system when i was with the airlines, but that was pretty self explanatory and wasn't a 40 year old terminal. So, now down to the question. Does anyone know what the magic settings are to get this thing to send and receive correctly?
