OK thanks -   a  very useful chart!   but  now   I wonder  WHY  have the  
BELL  as 2  different  codes...
and... which one is considered the most standard?
and...  how  do  we change the bell  to the  other   code if  we  wish to?

yes on an ASCII machine...
on a  15  or a 28 I think there are  2 different   bell comes depending on 
who the user was?
( can someone  provide a detailed drill down on  what this is  all about? I 
had  just heard about it in passing)
