Hi Simon,
thanks for your inteerst in our system.
What we have developed is a real Telex exchange with the means of modern
microcontrollers and interconnection via the internet. It would have been
the
size of a full room back 50 years ago...
Every of our systems are a small "local" telex exchange. We have modular
ports
for literally every telex connection system of the world, including that in
the Netherlands
used TW39 signalling type A version (keyboard dialling).
So, any of your T37, T100 or T1000 with external or built in Telex control
unit
will be fine to work with our system as we "emulated" the original telex
standards.
Many of us even use the old (historical) telex number of their machines.
You can either dial up locally to another machine also connected to you
local
system or by using a prefix number like 0 to the outer world via an
internet connection.
Plus other features like web based connection to the machine etc.
The TXP system (as we call it, derivated from our beginnings of the
project as *T*ele*XP*hone
with modems of POTS lines) is modular designed.
In order to be both modular and also to find mechanical parts and cases
(e.g. 19" racks) easily
we followed the European industrial standard using standardized "Eurocard"
size PCBs.
See attached photo of my own Telex switch Blumenhagen :-)
It has become a real vital network meanwhile, with an constantly
increasing number
of members /subscribers. Some are very active some less but generally all
machines
are online 24/7 to leave messages...or chat directly.
You and your group are welcome to join us.
