The web site describing the workings of the 1960's era Flexowriter my students and I are working on restoring is coming along.  More photos and more patent citations.  Given that we have limited documentation, the patents look more and more useful, especially those I have found that document the Singer/Friden version of the machine.

I also found a color version of the "tape around the world" Friden slogan logo.  Looks much better with pink tape.

I have yet to take a good photo for the front page of the web site because the machine is still up on its back while we work on its underside.

In other news, we think our TTY model 33 is receiving what we type correctly -- the code bars seem to shift correctly, so we're working to adjust the paper-tape punch next so we can see the binary data it is receiving.  It prints wrong, though.  I expect we'll be able to type to tape in local mode tomorrow.
